The LAN Drive adds the convenience of network attached storage to homes and small businesses, giving you a central location for your data and letting you share that data across your network.

The LAN Drive takes a standard 3.5" Hard Disk Drive and turns it into a fully features Network Attached Storage (NAS) file server, ideal for storing recorded TV programs and other media.

The LAN Drive is a multifunctional hard drive enclosure. In addition to being a network storage device, you can also use it as a standalone external hard drive via the USB interface

Two version of the LAN Drive are available;

    • To a home or office network using the supplied RJ-45 LAN cable. The LAN Drive supports 10/100 Fast Ethernet networks.
    • To a PC or Laptop or Apple Mac using the USB cable. (USB 1.x and USB 2.0 are both supported)

    Minimum specification for USB connectivity;

      Windows 98SE/Me/2000/XP/Vista (Now shipping with latest Vista ready firmware)
      (LAN Drive is driverless in Windows 2000, XP & Vista)
